Christ Ambassadors
The bible talks about we being the ambassadors of Christ which mean God is making His appeal through us. When we accept Jesus Christ as our savior we are no more of this world but are to this world as His representation. We no longer hold the DNA of this world but our DNA Testing automatically shows the DNA of Christ.
Many of us know the significance of being an ambassador however do not discharge the duties as responsible ambassador. Being a member of a big church or attending services or mass on a regular basis does not make us a true ambassador however living a life which portraits the life of Christ makes us a true ambassador. Therefore we need to be an effective ambassador of Christ. We should not forget the fact that we are the authorized representatives of Christ on this earth.
As an ambassador of Christ we need to have clear picture and the importance of our authority. We need to understand Christ who has given us the authority. To be an ambassador for Christ is an honor and a great privilege. To be an ambassador is to let others know about the kingdom you belong, the salvation and forgiveness from sin that we receive though Christ. The bible says, “All have sinned and have come short of the glory of God”. We have the nature of sin in us but when we accept Jesus as our Saviour old things are gone and we become a new creation of God.
So to be a good ambassador lets understand the saving knowledge of Christ.
